Words with Friends

The app I choose to review was Words with Friends .  The reason why I decided to choose this app is because it is a fun app that is related to Scrabble and can substantially help you with your vocabulary.  Anyone who travels a lot, wants to learn new vocabulary words, or likes the board game Scrabble, would love to use this app.  I will be reviewing this app on an iPhone.
The first screen you see if you are already logged in is your account setting menu,  who you are
playing against and if it is your turn, who you have beaten or lost too, if you want to invite anyone, or if you want to create a new game.
If you click create a new game it will come up with a menu asking you who you want to invite to your game.  You can invite people from your contacts, search someones’ user name, find a random game, or play pass and play and play with a friend next to you on the same iphone, itouch, or ipad.
Once you have selected one of those game creations, your screen will become a white screen with little squares in it, just like a scrabble board (look at picture above).  You will have seven random picked letters at the bottom of your screen and you will have to make a word out of those seven letters.  The bigger the word or more complicated it is, the more points you get.  Especially if you build your word on a special square that can double or triple the amount of points your letter lands on, or double and sometimes even triple the word you play (The orange square triples your word, the red square doubles your word, the blue square doubles the letter, and the green square triples the letter.)  Your objective is to get the most points and beat who ever you are playing against.

Once you have finished a game, it will tell you who you have beaten, or lost to, and will ask you if you want to have a rematch.  Also if you go back to the words home screen it will tell you in the game summary section who you have beaten or lost to.

The price of this game was $2.99.  It was a pretty big price for an app like this, but it is very addicting and exciting.  I like this app because I can play with my friends no matter where they are (as long as they have their phone) and I get to learn new vocabulary.  People who travel will also love this app because when they are waiting for a flight, or are on a flight, they can play this fun, addicting game to pass the time.   All in all I think this is a great app and is well worth the price.

If would change anything about this app, I would defiantly make it so you could play words with multiple people, not just two.  This app is appropriate for people of all age.  You can be a business man, or a child, this app will be suitable for you.  This app is great for everyone.  Not only is it fun, but it also helps you with your vocabulary.  I recommended this app to to anyone who enjoys a good board game, wants to learn new vocabulary, or just wants to have fun.
