Vancouver 2010 Olympic App

The application that I chose for my review is the Vancouver 2010 Olympic App. This app gives you instant access to all the information for the previous winter Olympics. This app features all medals won or awarded, all winter Olympic sports schedules and outcomes, map of Vancouver and Whistler(sites of the Olympics), where each event is, and who is participating in the event.

This is a screenshot of the map schedule in this app. This feature allows you to see where each event is, when it is, and which sport is playing. This is very helpful if you are at the Olympics and don’t know were to go to get to the event. Also, this feature can find where you are and give you directions to each stadium or event. The only downside on this feature is that you have to have wifi or 3g on your phone while using the app.

This application is free and needs wifi.  I would rate it an 8 out of 10.I would not buy it today for one reason. The 2010 winter Olympics have already happened and there is almost no use for this app. But if you are in Vancouver or Whistler, this app can give you information about the sites for tourist attractions. So if you are in these areas, this is a great app for tourism.
