Grade level: For all who can read
Cost: FREE
Platform: iOS(IPad IPhone ITouch) And Computer

Have you always wanted a kindle or ebook reader, but just didn’t want to spend the one hundred and ninety dollars?  Well Amazon has made an app to make you IPhone or IPad or computer into an even stronger version of Kindle. This app is the future of reading.  Have you ever been on a long trip and stuffed your suitcase with dozens of books?  Well with the Kindle App you can hold dozen of books without having to carry them all around.

With the Kindle App you can download books anywhere you have WiFi via the Kindle store.  The storefront has a very clean UI or User Interface.  You can search for books by genre,  title, or author.  Also after you have bought a book it will recommend books that are related to it. After you have found a book you like using the Amazon Kindle Store you simple click download.  The download times are insanely fast, so you don't need to wait an hour to start reading your brand new book.  Once you have finished reading you can remove the book from you device, but the book doesn't go away it simply moves to your archived items for if you want to read it again later.  With the Kindle App you can download books anywhere you have WiFi via the Kindle store.

PROS: As I stated earlier that is app makes you Kindle look weak.  The Kindle is not back light illuminated, the issue with that is that you can’t read at night.  With the Kindle app you can use the back light to read all night without having to have a light on.

CONS:  The only issue with this app is it needs WiFi to download its books.  The Kindle uses WisperNet, a WiFi that has unlimited range so you can download a book where ever you are.  There are some rumors that they will make WisperNet compatible with this app.  So this one con will become a pro.

The Kindle App is the future of reading books.  I would recommend this app to anyone who enjoys reading.  Why waste the $199 on a Kindle when you can get one free buy using your IPod/IPad or computer.
