App Review

3-10-11
Grade: 7
Cost: Free
Platform: Itouch

I choose an app called Flixter because I love to watch movies, and Flixter is all about watching previews of movies that are going into theaters.  This app also shows critic reviews, star ratings, getting tickets, also things like movie quizzes and top actors.
The section that I use the most is the Box office section that tells you when movies are going into theaters or that are in theaters.  Critics reviews who rated it, which ones are popular and my favorite, the previews.  This will also show what movies are the most popular.

In the Upcoming Movies section, you can see what new movies will be coming out and when they will be out in theaters, also the actors in it the movie and the previews.  The Upcoming Movies section shows the movies that you would see on TV or hear about from your friends or family.  In the Theater section, the app will help you find the closest theater around the zip-code that you type in.This section can also help you get tickets to the movies.

In the section DVD, the app will show you movies that have are now on DVD.  The app will also show movies that will become DVDs soon.  For example, if you did not see the movie The Fighter, you can see it on DVD now.

This app has a couple of games on it also, like best actor and movie quizzes.  I rate this app a 9 out of 10 for keeping me aware about the good movies that are in theaters and which ones I have to see.  Also, because this app is free and it is definitely worth it if it is free.
