Learning sign language by a poster, book, or sign isn’t always easy. There are a lot of motions and movements you can’t see on a sign. I have always been interested in learning sign language, so this app seemed to be interesting to me, especially because of the price!

The app starts off with a screen with the choices of the letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-30, and the most common colors.

When you select one of the choices, you get taken to a video that tells you how to sign the letter, color, or number. The app shows you exactly how to sign and move your hands to sign the letter.

Once you feel you have learned enough of the sign language vocabulary, you can take a quiz or practice quiz to prepare.

The quiz grades you with a score so you know what you need to practice.

The cost of the app is perfect. It is free and well worth having on your iPod/iPhone if you are interested. I would personally even pay up to $1.99 for it. I believe this app is that educational.

This app is great, but I wish it had more expressions and sayings. However, this is an app mostly directed  for beginners who are just being introduced to the world of sign language. Even so, the app can be used by all ages who have the patience, time, and some sense of memorization skills. To sum everything up, I would definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for an interesting, fun way to learn sign language.
