Planetarium - Check this app out!
Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 7:51PM I apologize as I don't know how to grade this particular app as I had lots of different feedback from different teachers. I find the app pretty amazing and I don't think I can do any better than this particular video from YouTube created by the app designer to show off the quality of the app. The designers website is fantastic as well.
First and foremost, the app designer is amazing for being able to create this application! Please comment on here and give this a grade for educational value. I think there is a lot of value myself but I want and need science teachers to talk about this application. I put a grade on our experience below but clearly there needs to be more discussion by educators who might or might not use this in the classroom!
Grade Level: Middle to High School?
Program Functionality: B - The app has a lot going on so it was a little difficult to navigate for the student I tested it with.
Purpose: A
Overall Educational Value: ? / We need more data here to give an effective grade! I think there is a lot of value for a school as this type of manipulative progresses in advancement.
Cost: $2.99
Recommendation: We are recommending this app for personal use as it is amazing in many ways. Is there value for a school?
