Interview of Brent Coley - Show #13 and Interview #1

Brent Coley has some extensive work with IPod's in his classroom.  This first interview ever in an ongoing weekly videocast was with Brent as he walked us around his work with the students via his website MrColey.com.  We highly suggest you check out Brent's work.

What a great first videocast!

I really liked how you had Brett's site up throughout the show. It helped with seeing what it was he was mentioning. After watching I spent time reading through his resources, listening to his podcasts, as well as ruminating on a lot of new ideas I can use with my students.

Great advice for teachers at the end. "For those who say they can't do it, you really can do it. Don't jump into the deep end. Start small. Rome wasn't built in a day and your technology integration doesn't have to be either." Thanks for posting, a great listen that's worth your time!

Thanks for the comments Mike and Jeremy. We look forward to this being an ongoing weekly piece. Brent was a great start for us as he has done some fantastic work with his students... He has a very robust web resource for his students and parents.

Our 2nd interview is going to be Tim Stahmer as his district is rolling out some of these devices. We are interviewing him this 4/7/2009.
