TED - Ideas Worth Spreading - Review #5

Grade Level:High School to College

Program Functionality: A - to B... the only negative is that it is bandwidth intensive because of the videos.

Purpose: A - TED is an excellent resource and this extends its usefulness.

Overall Educational Value: A- to B+ as it depends on what you are trying to do. I can see some teachers assigning specific talks out of TED that could be very useful. For the sake of learning, this is an awesome tool and awesome conference/website.

Cost: Free

Platform: Both ITouch and IPhone

Recommendation: We recommend this application for personal use as well as recommend teachers to take a look at this application.

I am a huge fan of TED and I as well am pleased with the application.

Now I do not need to keep all of my favorite TED presentations synced to my iPhone. I can just pull up the TED application!

I really like how you emphasize the "personal" or professional uses of such an application.
